Our Services - Portering

Our porters complete a comprehensive training programme including H&S and manual handling ensuring they are fully equipped to handle diverse situations. They go through rigorous training in manual handling, health & safety and food & hygiene ensuring they are fully equipped to handle any situation.

Porters carry out a number of duties notably:

• Contributing to the effective management of patient care by providing a safe, caring and timely internal patient movement service.
• Ensuring efficient movement of goods
• Managing and maintaining the postal service
• Handling and removal of waste in line with policies and relevant Health and Safety legislation
